Kelly Wells is our CEO, a birth trauma and baby loss specialist, a counsellor and a mother with lived experience. Having had 10 years of experience both counselling and working with thousands of families who have been in this space. Kelly has also received medical training on the clinical side (via Professor Ranjit Akolekar) to understand fully with clinical terms, prognosis and procedures. Since 2014 we have met and been a part of thousands of family’s stories. We listened, supported and learnt from every single one and that is why our services and tools are so personalised to their needs.
10 Years of lived experience, knowledge, training and in house practice makes us the perfect fit to train others. We are specialists in the baby loss arena and we want to share our learning with others to make sure everyone touched by loss gets the most positive experience whether they are in another postcode, hospital or charity’s care.
Through this unique position, dedication and passion she shares our knowledge, understanding of both clinical and mental health and trains others so we that are all best placed to serve the families who need us.
We do this by:
- Presenting to Universities, colleges and other learning facilities.
- Training other charities on Baby Loss to help them further support those they support.
- Working closely with the NHS/ HEE via expert panels and consultancy/ training.
- Lunch & Learns for corporate companies looking to improve their understanding or review HR policies.
