To further support our families, strengthen connections within our community, raise awareness and help fund our vital services, we hold a number of annual MM events that everyone can be part of.

These events provide opportunities for families and friends to come together, share experiences, honour their babies and make a meaningful difference. 

April

Making Miracles 
Birthday Month

Celebrate the birthday of Making Miracles and the years we’ve spent supporting the baby loss community. Throughout our Birthday Month, we’re bringing people together through fundraising 
and challenges

Whether you take on a sponsored challenge, organise your own fundraiser, make a donation or simply help spread awareness, every step taken helps us continue providing care, support, and hope to those who need it most.






August

Garden Day

This is held around the first weekend in August for our garden’s birthday.

It is a time to come together and celebrate the special place we are lucky to have to remember all babies lost, from any time, any cause, anywhere.

Enjoy a BYO picnic with family, friends and our MM family.

October

Baby Loss Awareness Week
(BLAW) 9th - 15th October

BLAW is an annual, international event dedicated to supporting bereaved parents and families, commemorating babies who died too soon and breaking the silence surrounding baby loss. 

We raise awareness at our Umbrella Event and 
global 'Wave of Light'

Wave of Light 
Date: 15th October 7pm

We will join families across the world by lighting a candle at 7pm local time and leave them burning for at least one hour to remember all our babies that have died too soon.
There will be a peaceful opportunity to:
At home or at our Baby Memorial Garden.

December

Carols around the Christmas tree

This special festive occasion usually takes place the Sunday before Christmas. Here we 
gather around the Christmas tree, add baubles and sing carols.

If, all the children (and adults!) are good then there may be some 
special chocolate treats
