On the day

ARRIVAL TIMES

Your arrival time will be determined at the time of booking and will be filled from the earliest time slot first. In order to complete your check-in and training, you must arrive on site by the arrival time. In light of the fact that skydiving is weather-dependent, we suggest allowing all day for your skydive experience.

SPECTATORS

We love having your supporters on-site to cheer you on, but when should they arrive for your skydive? It is suggested they arrive on site no later than 45 minutes after your arrival time. While you wait to take the leap, you can take advantage of the indoor/ outdoor seating areas and café serving hot and cold food plus beverages.

WHILE ON-SITE – WHAT WILL YOUR DAY LOOK LIKE?

Team MM will welcome you and direct you to the Check-In room once you arrive on site. Here you will complete all your paperwork digitally, so be sure to keep your Check-In ID handy (found on confirmation texts and emails). You should plan to spend between 3-5 hours here with us, but be prepared that the experience may take all day due to the weather.

A Customer Experience Team member will guide you through the process of your day in your induction. They will explain what will happen and when. Make sure you stay hydrated and eat during your time onsite.

Fundraising Ideas

Social Media

We are all addicted to social media so make sure you use it to your fundraising advantage. Tell people you are skydiving, the charity you are jumping for and when. Include a link to your fundraising page. Keep people updated with your progress and how far you are from your target. Continue to use great images and video to keep people interested.

Work Colleagues and Employees

Depending on who your employer is you may be able to get additional fundraising support. Some businesses will even match whatever amount you raise. Speak to your HR department or the MD’s assistant for advice. If there is a corporate newsletter ask if details about your skydive and how people can support you can be included. If there is a staff noticeboard put up a poster about your jump or circulate some flyers.

Family and Friends

An obvious one but sometimes overlooked. Older family members may be happy to sponsor you but not necessarily online. We supply charity coordinators with good old fashioned sponsorship forms so make sure you order some and then pop round and see everyone.

Local Press

Using your local press is a great way to build awareness about your jump and encourage more sponsors. Local news desks are generally very receptive to good news stories and very happy to support local charities. Put together a press release including a good strong title and the key pieces of information – who, why, what, where and when. At the end you can add all your contact details, the charity website and a link to your just giving page.Email your press release at least two weeks prior to the event. After the event follow-up with photographs and video footage.

Set up Your Fundraising Page

We have a dedicated fundraising platform where you can set up your dedicated page, add your story as well as share photos and videos.
Once your page is set-up share it everywhere! Add it to your social media posts, emails and texts! Your friends, family and colleagues can donate to support you. You can even
download a QR code. Once you've sign up Olivia can help you set up your page but please feel free to have a look now

Sponsorship

If you don't ask you never know.

If you know anyone that owns their own business they may be able to become a sponsor. They could make a donation to promate their business, you can have their logo on your page or on your top, along side Making Miracles.
