Become a Trustee

We are seeking compassionate, dedicated individuals to join our Board of Trustees and help guide the future of our charity. We are looking for new trustees who can help us strengthen and expand the important work and support we provide bereaved families.

We especially welcome applicants who can bring fresh ideas and new perspectives, as well as skills in finance, administration or fundraising.

Whether you have professional expertise or lived experience that motivates you to support our cause, your voice and insight could make a meaningful difference.

As a trustee, you will help shape our strategy, ensure good governance, and champion our services within the community. Most importantly, you will be part of a caring team committed to ensuring no family faces baby loss alone.

If you’re passionate about making an impact and want to contribute your skills to a charity that changes lives, we would love to hear from you.

Hear from our Chairman

Hi all, I am Sally. Having spent 35 years working in local authorities, I retired from my last post as Director of Ofsted’s Inspection and Regulation contract for the Early Years Foundation Stage. Since then, I have been heavily involved in establishing Making Miracles. I have been Company Secretary and I am now Chairman.

I focus my work on applying for various funding opportunities, working hard on bid writing and giving strategic direction to both the team and the Board of Trustees. I am also dedicated to supporting the Handmade With Love shops and helping them continue to grow and thrive as part of the Making Miracles community.

If you would like to talk to Sally directly, please email sally@makingmiracles.org.uk
