Baby Loss Awareness Week runs annually from 9th-15th October every year.
Here at Making Miracles we do a number of things to support and help you through it as it can be a very triggering yet comforting week.
We do this by:
- Holding our Umbrella Memorial Walk – usually held the Saturday before or after BLAW depending on how the week falls (dates will always be 9-15th no matter the day of the week this falls on)
- Our Wave of Light event at the garden and LIVE on Facebook – this is always held on 15th October from 645pm.
- Host our Umbrella Event @ St Margaret’s Church in Rainham (all week) Where you can sponsor an Umbrella and have a special heart or star memorial.
- Having our team out in the community to be spoken to face to face during the week
- St Margret’s Vicar conducting a special memorial service during that week (usually on the Friday evening at 7pm)
- Special Podcasts released every day of BLAW
- Having our Baby Memorial Garden assessible for people to visit throughout the week
- Our online support group and Facebook LIVES so you can join in from home
